Here's a clipping file and setup file for G5 multi - on GE! There's two flavors: original and BLAND. Bland doesn't allow you to leap between the platforms over the large pit. Both can be used with the setup file provided.
Ump_setupG5Z.bin	decompressed setup file
Ump_setupG5Z.1172	compressed setup file, ready for insertion
bg_cryp_tilesZ-GE.bin	decompressed clipping
bg_cryp_tilesZ-GE.1172	compressed clipping, ready for insertion
BLAND_cryp_tilesZ-GE.bin	decompressed clipping - no leaps
BLAND_cryp_tilesZ-GE.1172	compressed clipping, ready for insertion - no leaps

Suggested scale - 3F666666

For those lucky buggers who happen to be playing with the NTSC North American release a ROM patch is provided that adds G5 onto the list of playable multiplayer stages, replacing Random. It uses the normal clipping file and applies the proper textures for all the rooms. It also sets the stage scale, fog, adds a stage select image, and a few bonus features ;*) The only disadvantage is that it removes Depot - if you can call that one; it wasn't one of the best stages by a long shot. If you need to advance past the stage, use the button codes to automatically open Train or hack your save file.
It is recommended you use the Goldeneye Setup Editor's patching feature to patch the file. Select an uneditted rom file, select the patch, and choose a new filename for the patched file. Don't try to patch it to itself; that will cuase an error that will delete the information in the ROM. The patch is named:
G5_CS_Depot_E.ips
The editted control block (21990) is also provided for reference. Do not attempt to apply it to some other region, unless you like fatal errors.
USA-G5depot-ctrl.bin	decompressed binary
USA-G5depot-ctrl.1172	compressed control block, ready for insertion

The setup:
Most of the presets are stolen from PD, so this should look a bit familiar. One or two weapon sets have been moved around, and the number of spawns have been reduced so there is only one in a room. The totals are:
12 spawn points
10 weapon pickups
2 BA pickups plus one BA+ pickup (150% armor)
Since the stage is small and rather tight you won't see any extra objects lying around. In addition, there's a ditty to kill players who fall from the platforms over the large pit.

The clipping:
Now, first off, I didn't add in the ability to fall off of every stupid surface. You can do that yourself ;*) However, you can fall down from room 14 (0E) to the floor below, 31 (1F) to 35 (23), and from 28 (1C) to 32 (20). You can also jump between the platforms (room 11/0B) over the large central pit (room 1), and fall to your death!
Anyone wishing to create their own setup file should include this code in an action block:
10xx:	Autokill
0200
03
D6F60A01
0100
0201
18F80815
0100
END

It automatically kills players when they fall from the platforms. D6 should be set lower than FEC0. It is multiplayer-safe, only killing the idiotic player who fell. Deaths are registered as suicides. However, invincibility nullifies the effect, so if you do fall when invincible you will need to exit the stage.

A word of warning though:
The BLAND tiles are included in case you intend to play a large number of Flag Tag/Golden Gun matches. If a player falls off of the ledge into the abyss with the item there is no way to recover it. In addition, the action block can only kill a player if they are *not* invincible.
Also, there is an exploit that allows a player to walk along the edge of the walkways and be invisible. A "MP falling patch" is in development that will solve this problem.
